Well, he walked up to me and he asked me if I wanted to dance.
He looked kinda nice and so I said I might take a chance.

"ASH KETCHUM YOU ARE SO DEAD!!!!!!" I yelled, sprinting down the beaten path after him. I, Misty Waterflower, had once again been insulted by a Mr. Ash Ketchum. Ohhh, he was SO toast.

When he danced he held me tight
And when he walked me home that night

But then I hit a rock, and my entire body went tumbling forward. I flipped down the hill, crashing into Ash, and the two of landed in an... awkward position.

All the stars were shining bright
And then he kissed me.

His lips were on mine.

Each time I saw him I couldn't wait to see him again.
I wanted to let him know that he was more than a friend.

I didn't know what else to do! So I shoved him off of me. Brock and the others were far behind. We were going to be alone for at least the next ten minutes. Ash spoke first.

I didn't know just what to do
So I whispered I love you

"Misty, I... I..."

"You what?" I prompted.

"I LOVE YOU!" he yelled out so quickly I almost missed it.

And he said that he loved me too
And then he kissed me.

I knew that he was mine so I gave him all the love that I had
And one day he took me home to meet his mom and his dad.

So here we are, ten years later, standing outside his mom's house yet again. Ash is Pokemon Master, Pikachu has kids, I'm the Pokemon Water Mistress, Brock's a famous breeder, and Ash says he has a surprise for me tonight.

Then he asked me to be his bride
And always be right by his side.

After we saw his mom, he blindfolded me and took me to a secret spot. He removed the blindfold, only to have me gasp in surprise. He had brought me back to the very spot where I had first met him: by that river where I had been fishing.

I felt so happy I almost cried
And then he kissed me.

"Misty Waterflower," he began, slowly reaching into his pocket.

'Oh gosh, here it comes!' I thought to myself. 'He's going to propose!'

"Misty, I want you to have this," Ash said, pulling a bike lock out of his pocket, then turning around and pushing a bush out of the way to reveal a gleaming bike in a bike rack.

I may have looked slightly disappointed, but if I did, Ash didn't acknowledge it. He simply smile and pushed me towards it. I got closer to it, and did a full inspection. I took the bike lock and placed it around the bike and rack to lock it, noticing a small velvet box laying on the ground only after the bike had been chained.

I lifted it up, then turned around to face Ash.

Then he asked me to be his bride
And always be right by his side.

He was on one knee.

"Misty, will you marry me?" he asked when I opened the box to find a beautiful, shining, very expensive engagement ring.

I felt so happy I almost cried
And then he kissed me.

"Yes!" I exclaimed, throwing my arms around his neck.

And then he kissed me.

And then he kissed me
