DeadmanX: alrighty then…this is my first fic I hope you like it

Nothing Else Matters
Kai stared into the fire from his comfy leather armchair, book in one hand, whisky in the other. Kai was an ex-BladeShark, ex-Bladebreaker, ex-Blitzkrieg Boy, and an ex-G-Revolutionist. Ex-champ, ex-chump, he had done it all and pretty much beat them all. But times moved on, things changed. Kai was now 18 and had left his friends and moved away into an apartment in the city. He never forgot his friends and often looked back on the old days when he used to blade with his teammates and friends and sometimes wished he could go back to them. But all that was behind him now.
Kai took a sip of his whisky when suddenly he heard a loud scream coming from outside which made him cough on his drink. He rushed over to the window where the scream came from and looked down to the alley below to find a rather big manly figure forcefully dragging what looked like a woman into the dark of the alley. At seeing this Kai ran for the door.
The woman struggled as the thug covered her mouth and slammed her head against the wall, dazing her slightly. The thug took his hand from her mouth and slid it under her shirt, groping her breast roughly. Before she could cry out for help the thug forced his tongue down the poor girl's throat. She closed her eyes hoping the man would stop and let her go, but she had no such luck. Suddenly the thug was sent flying off the woman by a hard right fist coming from a tall dark and handsome man. Kai.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing you little punk!" said the thug
"Get behind me" said Kai to the woman, warding her behind him.
Kai pulled the scuff of his white scarf over his nose and mouth, and took a fighting stance. The thug charged at Kai and threw a hard right hand at his face but Kai was too quick for the thug and dodged it with ease. Kai kicked the thug in the stomach and delivered a stern right elbow to his back. Just as the thug was getting up, Kai smashed him in the face a few times with a hard fist. Kai then grabbed a nearby trash can and placed it over his head, took a step back and super kicked the trash can over the thugs head, sending him into a nearby pile of rubbish. Having defeated the thug, Kai pulled down his scarf and went to tend to the woman ho was sitting against the wall.
"That was incredible!" she said.
Kai smiled. "Are you ok?"
The woman got up and brushed off. "Yea…I'm fine". Kai could see what the woman looked like and couldn't believe who it was.
"Hilary?"
Hilary looked up.
"Kai!"
