A/N: Similar to the Idunn's Apple poem I wrote.

The Norns three, old and wise

Whilst weaving the Wyrd by Mimir's well

Did foresee the gods' demise

Ragnarokr, when the final bell shall knell

Crimson, golden, and soot-red,

Three roosters bring the final end

The Deceiver, the Golden Comb, and the last unnamed,

Heimdall shall echo the message they send.

The great wolves of the sky shall devour the moon and sun

Sons of Loki, wolf and serpent, break free of their chains

Naglfar sets sail, Asgard comes undone,

Fimbulvetr brings an end to all of Midgard's pains

Surt's fire shall set the nine worlds ablaze

The Allfather shall meet his fated death

The Thunderer and the World Serpent at the end of days,

Shall do battle, and both shall be laid to rest.

In the aftermath, when the worlds have finally ended

Two mortals longing for life shall inherit Midgard

From Hel's cold grasp shall some be reclaimed

And the remaining Aesir return to Asgard.

The Norns then say, we survivors then will gather at a thing

Reminisce on the past, poems and praises shall we sing

Of the wondrous deeds of the ones we have lost

To Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods.
