Sorry guys, no new chapter today, but this is a little drabble that I literally wrote in ten minutes. I was reading this fic about kissing and I realized how much can be going on in someone's mind during such an intimate moment. Anyway, I've got to continue working on my homework so hopefully I'll be back next week with a new chapter. Got nearly 4,000 words written and aiming for 6,000 or if I'm lucky, 8,000.

Anyway, enough of my incessant rambling and let's get on with the story!

~Deepika

They stared at each other feeling like the only two people on earth. It seemed like time had just stopped all of a sudden All she could see was his eyes shining with adoration and his hair falling into his eyes. She leaned back into the wall as he pushed her, his forehead nearing hers. They were nose to nose now, breaths mingling in the cold December air. Christmas lights were flashing all around them, the trees glistening with tinsel. But she couldn't focus on anything except his nearing lips. Their top lips met and morphed into an electrifying kiss. She sighed into his mouth as their lips moved in sync. The angels were singing and violins were playing a gorgeous melody. Her head was spinning but she welcomed the feeling; anything to make him keep kissing her like this. His arms gripped her waist and her arms on his shoulders. Their hair fluttered in the wind and they pulled apart, breathing heavily and their chests touching as it heaved. He cupped her face in one hand and brought his lips to meet hers again and their worlds exploded.

Nirvana

Heaven...

So innocent

Yet so breathtaking

Absolutely chaste

Yet so enticing

Simply magical

Yet real at the same time

It felt like a dream

Yet they both knew it was real life...

"May..."

"Drew..."

...yet this; all of this was just them. May and Drew. They exchanged few words, pleasantries, and physical touch yet each knew how much the other cared. Every look was innocent, every touch chaste. He was magical to her and he kept thinking that she was a dream, waiting for him to wake up alone again. But the looks he gave her were breathtaking. The way she touched him was enticing. It was magical, just a like a dream...yes, this was real life; this was how they the real world, they were rivals, coordinators of high status. But here, where everything was stripped, leaving them vulnerable in this cold December night, they were just two innocent people in love. People just trying to find a place in this world and trying to sort out their conflicting feelings. Here, they were just Drew and May, May and Drew.
