YOU SMILE WITH YOUR EYES
"Won't you just smile for me, Hayato?" His pace speed up when the other guy closes in on him.
"You should smile more... your eyes becomes bright green when you do." The guy was still rambling on about his eyes changing colour. Maybe he shouldn't have told him about it. Oh well, too late to regret now. His feet sped up even more. The guy behind him didn't fall behind, quite the opposite.
"Hey, Hayato, won't you just, at least, look at me?" Yamamoto's voice was soft, hurt. Gokudera wouldn't stop, nor did his green flashing eyes meet Yamamoto's brown ones. Suddenly Yamamoto stopped. Against his will Gokudera stopped too. One meter separated them now, it was weird. They just stood there, Yamamoto thinking, Gokudera waiting. "Hey…" Yamamoto was hesitant now. Gokudera turned his head a little, eyes staring forwards.
"Could you play me a song? You can play the piano, can't you?" Gokudera froze and clenched his fists. Slowly he started walking. Yamamoto ran forwards and caught hold of his hand. "Hey, Hayato..." Gokudera was turned towards Yamamoto and brown staring eyes met his blank sad blue ones.
"Gokudera…" finally he was using his most used name. "Your eyes, they're…" Gokudera blinked, one lousy tear fell.
"I won't play." His voice was a whisper and he cursed inside. "Every time I do something bad happens, and I won't loose anyone… again." Turning around, he ran. Leaving a shocked Yamamoto behind. Lousy tears fell from his now grey eyes. "Play it anyways!" He froze for the second time that day. Turning around, not caring about his tear, to stare at Yamamoto. A smile adored Yamamoto's face.
"Play it anyways…" he said again. "Nothing bad will happen to me, because I have you." Gokudera's tears fell again, but something was different now. His eyes were bright green.
