Cleansing Tears

Does God Cry?
Does he look down on the world?
And see all the wrong we have done
So that
His tears will fall like rain
Showering the earth
Do his tears water the earth?
Yet still wash our souls?
Whiter then snow?
Do the clouds hanging low
Against the ground
Show his sorrow?
These are the questions we ask
And these are the questions that will not be answered
Until we are walking the Streets of Gold.
