Things in the small and quaint town of Mystic Falls were normal as per usual. Well having supernatural beings in the town was considered normal after all.
A selected few people, minding their own business suddenly found themselves getting slowly wrapped by a sheet of white light before they vanished, leaving behind people who seemed to be frozen in time.

The lively town of New Orleans was always known for its abundance of supernaturals. Well it was a common knowledge among the supernatural community at least.
Even among them were a few who were considered to be above all. It wasn't because they were seen as some sort of deity or anything. Some were seen as the devil's reincarnate while others were seen as a necessary evil. And the others, they were you ordinary run of the mill people. Or just people with extraordinary talents.
As these extraordinary and ordinary people went about their day, a white sheet of light enveloped them too and soon they vanished, their surroundings frozen in time.

Schools are never any fun for children. Even if this school happens to be for the gifted individuals. Sure there's magic in the air, literally. But there is still exams, studies, homework and the usual school drama.
As the students were busy preparing for their test, a sheet of white light wrapped around a selected few. IN a matter of moments they too vanished and their world turned to stillness.

In a grand theatre like room, it rained men and women of all shapes and sizes. One fell on another till it was a heap of groaning and growling people. Slowly each got up, untangling from the mess they were in and just standing aimlessly. It was dark in the room and none of them could see anything.
"Who dares!" growled one of the men. The screen in the room chose that very moment to sizzle to life.
"Welcome people, things and other things. This is a, what do they call it again? Ah yes! A divine intervention. As much as we all loved your fates, we felt that there could be improvements. And by improvements we mean a LOT of improvements. So you're here, stuck till you are done seeing what your fates say so you lot can bring change. As the lights shine on you, please do introduce yourselves. Full names and all. We made sure to pick people once they were aware of the supernatural. Less of a drag to explain that way. Oh also, you all are from different times so. You'll know who's from what time line. Also no spoilers. There will be punishments otherwise"
As the text ended, light shone on a man with dork hair and blue eyes. "Why is it always me first" the man sighed. "Damon Salvatore. Vampire" he man held up a victory sign. Then another light shone on a dark haired girl beside him. "Elena Gilbert. Human" the girl nodded, slightly shy in her stance. Next another light shone on a brunette guy. "Stefan Salvatore. Vampire" the guy nodded. "Bonnie Bennett. Witch I guess" the girl with dark skin spoke when the light fell on her. "Caroline Forbes! Vampire" the blonde one said chirpily. "Jeremy Gilbert. Human" the next boy in line said. "Matt Donovan. Human" the next guy said, chest puffed out slightly. "Tyler Lockwood. Human" the scowling one said. "Alaric Saltzman. Human" the eldest of the men grunted, eyes trained on Damon. "Josette Laughlin. Witch with none of her magic" the final woman in that line said with a sigh, her eyes trained on Alaric with a raised eyebrow.
In the dark these groups of people somehow divided themselves in a group that looked more in tune with one another. The light then flashed on the first man on the next line, the one that had screamed.
"Klaus Mikaelson. Hybrid" the man said with a smirk, arms folded over his chest. "Hayley Marshall. Werewolf" the woman next to him nodded, one hand on her slightly swollen belly. As those two names were said, there was a gasp from somewhere in the dark. "Elijah Mikaelson. Vampire" the man next to Hayley nodded. "Rebekah Mikaelson. Vampire" the blonde lady beside him said and Stefan's eyes widened a fraction. "Kol Mikaelson. Apparently a vampire" the man next to Rebekah said, looking at the people beside him.
Before the man next to him could say anything, Rebekah tackled Kol into a tight hug, shocking the man himself. "You're back" she whispered, running her hands through his hair. Kol for a moment stayed still before hugging back. "I guess" he whispered back softly. Once Rebekah moved away, wiping a stray tear, Klaus walked forward and for a moment both brothers looked at each other before Klaus initiated the hug. Again Kol was shocked to his core, he had not expected Klaus to hug him. "I missed my troublesome little brother" the big bad hybrid joked, patting his brother on the back, Kol melting into the hug slightly. "Who was gonna drive you mad if I wasn't around" Kol joked, moving back from the hug. The next to come up to him was Elijah who pulled him into a one armed hug and patted his back, hard, with his fist.
With that little moment done, the next person finally got an opportunity to speak. "Vincent Griffith. Witch" the dark skinned male said. "Marcel Gerard. Vampire" the man next to him said, arms folded over his chest. "Davina Claire. Witch" the smaller girl beside Marcel spoke softly, her form hiding behind the taller vampire. "Joshua Rosza. Vampire" the younger male shrunk at the looks slightly. "Camille O'Connell. Human" the blonde said, eyes widening at the sheer number of supernatural beings present. "Freya Mikaelson. Witch" the final woman in the line said, eyes darting to her instantly. "We have another sister?" Elijah raised an eyebrow. He was now very curious while Klaus looked on with suspicion.
Next to introduce themselves were the youngest of the lot. The light shone on two people this time, girls, twins. "I'm Lizzie Saltzman" said the blonde one. "And I'm Josie Saltzman" said the Brunette. "We're twins. Fraternal of course" Lizzie added the last part in. "And we're witches. Well Siphoners to be exact" they said in unison. Alaric looked at the twins with slightly widened eyes. As far as he knew, he was the only Saltzman in the family. Could they be his?
Damon looked at the twins with a raised eyebrow before turning to his brother. "Say why don't' we-" "No" Stefan shut him down immediately. "You're no fun" Damon pouted.
"Well I'm Milton Greasley, M.G for short. Vampire" the kid with the Afro said. "Landon Kirby" the curly hair awkward child said. "Rafael Waithe. Werewolf" the boy with short hair said. And finally it was the turn of the redheaded girl. "Hope" she said and was silent for a moment. Suddenly she yelped as if someone pinched her side. She glared at the others who all shrugged. "Hope Mikaelson. Freak show Tribrid" she rolled her eyes. "Freak show all right" Lizzie muttered and the two glared at one another.
At the mention of her name though there was startled stare from the second group. Hayley was staring wide eyed at the girl while Klaus was merely speechless. He knew he was going to be a father. But to actually see his child standing there, glaring at the blonde, he was in shock. She was in one word, perfect. A warm feeling passed through him as he realized who she really was. She was his precious person and he would protect her no matter what. He wasn't sure where that came from, but he knew he had to do it. Though he didn't like how the curly haired boy was holding her hand. He would need to keep an eye on them. Camille though noticed something odd about the girl. The way she was looking at Klaus and Hayley, who she was sure were parents, was of sadness. Like she hadn't seen them in so long. Did something happen in the future?
With Hope's introduction, everyone was introduced and the screen fizzed to life.
"With that being done, please take a seat" rows of seats were illuminated behind them. "Just relax and enjoy the show, Oh and remember, no spoilers!"
The text vanished and as told they all sat down in their respective chairs, each one had a name etched on it which looked nice. As they all finally settled in, the screen fizzed to life and the showing of fates began.
