Disclaimer: Again, I own nothing… I'm not gonna mention anything else, I like having my sanity…
Lilly's POV
……………
I used to hate basketball, you know what, scratch that I hated all sports. Mind you, I was perfectly fine sitting at home Ipod in hand, a mug of tea, snow outside and a great book. Sounds good right? That's what I thought, until I spent a nice spring day outside a few weeks ago…
…………
You see, a few weeks ago I was sitting out in my front yard… Well not exactly my front yard, more like the tree in my front yard. At least I was, until a ball came flying through the clearing of the branches, where I was sitting.
Luckily, it only skimmed the tip of my book, causing it to fall the 6 foot climb to the earth. Which was really the only reason why I climbed down from the tree. I plopped down onto the ground, and started circling around the tree.
"Awh, come on, that one's a mint condition Twilight first best seller copy!" I complained, call me a book worm, but that was my prized possession. I walk around the tree and I probably would have continued if I didn't walk right into a solid thing in my way.
"Eeep!" I yelped in surprise as I almost hit the ground. Yeah, almost, another solid figure held me by the shoulders from falling back.
Once I regained my composure, I stood up straight to see who I should thank. I grinned, blushed, and looked down almost immediately. Once he recognized who it was, his expression turned apologetic…
"Lily, I'm so sorry! Here's your book, I didn't mean to do that! I swear! Joe threw the ball! See what you did! Now her book is all dirty!" The last few sentences were aimed directly behind me; I guess I know who the other person was.
He kept on ranting, apparently he didn't see me trying to hide me and Joe hide our laughter. Oh, did I forget to mention the Jonas brothers were my neighbors… and best friends? Oops…
Meanwhile, I grabbed the ball, and started running down the block as fast as I could. Behind my shoulder I yelled, "I'll forgive you if you can catch me!"
NPOV
Her yell echoed in the air. The wind blew her strawberry scented hair in my direction. This doesn't happen a lot, but I was actually stunned for a moment.
It wasn't until Joe called behind his back, half way to the park, "Dude, stop ogling at her and come on!"
I swear I turned red, and took off full speed down the street.

I finally reached the park, and bent over. Half from that half mile run, and I was laughing way too hard.
I looked up to see Nick legit rampaging towards me. I giggled, and tried to run away, only to be caught from behind.
Unfortunately for me, I was a rather ticklish child, and the slightest touch sent me into fits.
Seeing our situation Joe turned red, and muttered," Uh, I'll just see you guys laterr"
We both blushed, and I tried to step away. Yeah, tried. I looked down to still see His arms wrapped tightly around my waist. I turned around, his arms still around me and said slightly blushing," Ha, er you know you could uh… yeah let, go?"
He started turning beet red, and whispered something that was inaudible.
"Hmm?" I ask, still slightly uncomfortable, his arms were still around me.
"I said, what I don't wanna let go?"
I stuttered, and tried to turn away, before something stopped me. His lips pressed against mine, and I swear everything in the world stopped, and I flew up to heaven.
After a few moments, He pulled away. He took a step back, and muttered," That was unnecessary. I'm sorry…" He started to walk away quickly.
I started to run after him, and grabbed his hand. I smiled up at him, and said quietly," I'm not."
And guess what, that's how I learned to love basketball…
