Chapter 1: Anger
APOV
I hate the way he cheats. The way he forgets about Triton and l but no matter how many times he cheated l would always take him back with open arms. This time my patience had worn thin, he had sired another hero named Perseus Jackson. Usually this would not bother me this much but the love l saw shining in my husbands eyes when that mortal walked in the room after the Great Prophecy had been completed was much more intense than any he had ever given me. I realized then why Poseidon had pursued me when my sister denied him it was lust not love. He never loved me; l broke down crying endless streams of tears. I raised my face and looked in the mirror, just then my confidence returned and l remembered who l was. I was Amphitrite the sea deity and l was going to make Poseidon pay for toying with my heart for many millennia. I knew just what l was going to do. I was going to have to work with one of my least favourite people. I set of to find triton and search for the person who would help me get my revenge. I swam off and the water engulfed me. It was time to begin.
