This is a free verse poem with my own personal prompt being flying through the dancing stars. I hope you enjoy it! Happy Writings!

He's so F R E E

&&& You're so C O N F I N E D

ButButBut with him you can F L Y

.:.

&&& So what if he believes in Nargles?

M A Y B E you could too,

If he explained them to you

It couldn't be that hard

Could it?

For a dreamer

.:.

He might love you,

You've yet to ask him,

Instead you exchange k nowing g lances

With a blonde boy from across a large classroom

.:.

Your best friend of course notices your meaningful S T A R E S

In his direction, of course he'd never tell anyone about it

Because you know that he just may be in love with another Weasley

A certain Lucy.

.:.

He keeps your S E C R E T, and you keep his

As you both use your free time to stare longingly

At the Gryffindor table

.:.

Your parents would be so S U R P R I S E D

To find out that their perfect daughter had F A L L E N for

One of their best friend's sons

&&& Lily would scowl saying

"You're too bookish!"

He wouldn't care though,

.:.

Everyone would ask, "Why Him?"

AndAndAnd You'd simply shrug, butbutbut

You know that it's because

You're Rose Weasley

He's Lysander Scamander

.:.

&&& You're both utterly in love.

He makes you you

And takes you dancing under the S T A R S

Uncaring, Together, At Long Last

.:.

Does Lysander have blonde hair? I hope I didn't confuse anyone, her best friend is Scorpius if your wondering. This might be longer than my last Free Verse, but I fell in love with these poems and just had to write another one. This wasn't for a challenge, but I want to thank Mysti for encouraging me to write my first Free Verse.
