Prompt: Never say Never – the Fray
Spencer needed someone to talk too and since Emily was currently talking to JJ he decided that he would go and talk to Garcia. He needed a woman's point of view and he figured that Garcia would be the best one to give him advice anyways. He made his way to what they all called Garcia's cave and entered. He smiled when he saw her leaning over one of her precious babies.
"Hey Garcia do you got a minute to talk?" Spencer asked. He was really nervous about this but he needed to talk it over with someone.
Penelope turned around and smiled when she saw her little boy wonder standing in front of her. "For you I have all the time you need genius boy. What is it you need to talk about?"
Spencer swallowed because he knew what he wanted to say but he just wasn't sure if he could say it. He really needed the advice but if he actually had to say it out loud he would just die of embarrassment.
Spencer shook his head. "Never mind Garcia. I changed my mind."
Spencer turned to leave but before he could even open up the door to leave Penelope grabbed his arm and pulled him around and said "Oh no you don't my little wonder boy. Now you got me way too curious. What is it that you need to talk about?"
Spencer hung his head and whispered "I need advice on how to ask someone out."
Penelope thought she couldn't have heard right so she said "What do you need advice on my young genius friend?"
Spencer looked up and rushed out "I need advice on how to ask someone out. I didn't want to ask Morgan because he would tease me. And Emily is talking to JJ but I also figured that you'd be the only one who wouldn't make fun of me. Please don't make me regret that decision Garcia."
Penelope bit back the grin that she wanted to let out and said "Alright tell me about the woman."
Spencer took a deep breath. "It's the woman who lives next to me. She is nice, sweet, caring, and very pretty. She is shy though. The one time I did talk to her she blushed and ran off from me."
Penelope nodded. "Well you first need to find out what she likes and dislikes. Just trying talking to her at first. If that doesn't work then you can always use the ploy that you need a cup of sugar and go knock on her door and ask to have a cup."
Spencer's eyebrow went up at that and said "That would never work Garcia."
Penelope laughed. "Never say never Spencer. It has worked for me a time or two so why wouldn't it work for you?"
Spencer blushed and said "I'll try talking to her again first. If that doesn't work then I'll try your idea. Thanks Garcia."
Penelope grinned. "Not a problem boy wonder. But I want to know every detail when you get to go on a date with her."
Spencer blushed again and mumbled a "Yes ma'am" before heading out of Garcia's cave.
He looked up when he ran into someone and when he saw it was Morgan he groaned and took off. He didn't want to have to listen to Morgan asking him all sorts of questions. Right now he had a plan to make so that he could hopefully get a date from his pretty next door neighbor.
