Hello~! Yes, another one-shot from me. I've been having writer's (or is it writers'?) block. Actually, this isn't even a one-shot. It's actually a drabble, really. I don't know what made me write this. It feels so abstract, not like I wrote it. Well, at least to me it doesn't. Anyway, got to go work on another Huntik one-shot or drabble for my friend.

So cold…
He screamed her name, his tears staining his handsome face. Around him, people were screaming, crying. But he didn't care. All that mattered was her.
She lay on the ground, her own tears mixing with her blood, staining the snow. He saw her mouthing his name ever so gently and it broke his heart to see her in such a state.
So frail…
So broken…
He screamed out her name once more, his hand reaching forward, trying to reach her. She was so near, and yet still so far. He started pushing his way through the frenzied crowd, his eyes never once leaving her.
Someone bumped into him, momentarily blocking his view.
No! He had to reach her!
He stood up and once more shoved his way through. Until finally…
She lay at his feet, covered in blood and still so incredibly beautiful.
He knelt down and cradled her lifeless body in his arms. Gently, he placed soft kisses on her lips. He felt more tears slipping from his eyes.
He never got the chance to say goodbye.
So warm…

Suddenly, a shot of pain cracked through his spine. He felt something dribble down his chin.
Blood.
He smiled as he collapsed beside his dead lover. Shivering, he held her close to him.
So cold, yet so warm…
He could feel himself losing blood. His vision was beginning to get unfocused. Yet his mind felt clear.
He pulled out a box from his pocket.
Smiling, he slipped the ring onto her finger. It fit perfectly.
He rested his forehead against hers, too weak to do anything else.
Will you marry me…
