{Charles/OC} Charles is not CeCe!
It's been a year since the disappearance of Alison, Lena has yet to see the girls, not that she didn't want to, they've all just been busy... Yeah, that's it.
Aria just got back from Iceland, so she hasn't had time to talk to her. She and Spencer lost touch a month after Alison vanished, and she hasn't really that seen much of Hannah, Emily was the only one she really tried to keep in touch with.
So now she's standing outside a white painted house with a blue door, waiting for the owner to get here so she can interview her for a newly opened position to clean the place on the weekends. It's only for a little while until she has enough money saved up for new art supplies.
Lena walked up the steps, about to knock on the blue door, her hand freezing mid- knock when she caught sight of the curtains inside the house window move and what she swore were a flash of familiar blue eyes, but then she blinked and the image was gone, like it was never there at all. The feeling of trespassing quickly settled in her stomach as she backed away from the door, the telltale sound of tires on gravel startled her back to reality and that she was in fact supposed to be here.
Finally,
The owner stepped out of the silver car, head buried in her expensive bag. "I'm sorry, I was held up at work and then there was a shipping mixup, but don't worry I won't bore you with the details,"
She sighed, forfeiting her search, raising her head to greet the teen waiting on the porch.
As soon as she looked up, Lena was hit by the familiarity of the woman's features, she almost thought it was someone else for a split second.
"Ms. Dilaurentis?"
The older blondes eyes softened, tension immediately leaving her slim shoulders. "Lena, I didn't know it was you who applied. Oh it's so nice to see a familiar face,"
The younger girl carefully made her way over, pulling her in for a tight hug. "I'm so sorry, we haven't seen each other in a long time,"
She returned the hug just as tightly.
"It's not your fault darling girl, I understand trying to escape after everything that happened," She said, a sharp hint of sadness in her eyes.
She swallowed, laughing. Leaning back to get a better look at the girl.
"Look at you, all grown up."
"Well, you haven't changed a bit!" Lena exclaimed. "I swear you get younger every year,"
Ms. Dilaurentis smiled fondly at the petite girl.
"And still kind hearted as ever, I see,"
Lena chuckled, but it lacked mirth. "Some people would say not so much," Alison's Mom frowned, the light lines around her eyes crinkling.
"They obviously don't know you very well,"
The younger girl bowed her head her throat tightening in emotion.
"Come on sweety, let's go inside," She grinned wrapping her arms, around the green-eyed girl, "We have an interview to do,"
-Dreams... :)
