"Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket. Never let it fade away. Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket. Save it for a rainy day."

Those soft spoke words from his mother always stayed with him, even now as he out in the middle of the woods in the cold night of November looking for the rouge wolf who was attacking and killing people including his sister. He realised that the rouge had lured his sister back to their home town so he or she could kill her and take her alpha states. He returned to Beacon Hill's in home to claim his sister's body so he could bury her and to find the wolf who killed her.

In the meantime he is looking after a newly turned wolf who wanted to kill the alpha who turned him. Standing in the woods where the found another body hung up in a tree "Do you think the alpha did this?" The young dark haired boy asked as they watched as blood dripped from the blonde woman's throat

"Yeah I say it was the rogue." He turned to look at the teen that was standing next to him. The teen didn't trust him but what choice did he have at this point. Derek was all Scott had to help him control his wolf without going to the alpha. He wanted to smile and jump for joy at the huntress that killed most of his family.

While they stared at the dead woman a loud bang made them jump and turn towards the dark sky behind them seeing a ripple through the sky as something fell. "A sonic boom?" Derek whispered as he watched as a blue and white flames sweep across the sky blocking the light form the other star. It was as if all the other stars were gone as this falling object move over their heads and down towards another part of forests. 'Catch a falling star.' Whisper his mind

"Derek?" Scott asked to him as he fell a gust of wind pulled him towards the falling star. "Derek what is that!" Scott yelled

"It's a star Scott a real star!" He smiled, for the first time since the young wolf met him. Derek was still was smiling as he started to run towards there they felt it landed

"Wait Derek! Where are you going?" The boy yelled as he ran after the wolf "DEREK!"

Derek didn't listen as he ran towards the crash site as the teen behind him tried to catch up. He could smell burning bark and grass then in the burning scent there was something new something he never smelt anything like before. Pushing himself forward his wolf clawing to the surface as if the full moon was within fingers tips reach. He could see brightly glaring light flicking though the branches as he pushed thought closing his eyes as the light faded.

He pushed his way through the tree and stopped at the large cavity in the ground he stood there watching small flames finish off the broke trunks of trees. A noise next to him to told him that Scott caught up "Whoa." Scott whispered as they walked towards the centre of crater where the blinding light suddenly fade inwards leaving a figure of a young boy laying there. "He fell from the sky?" Scott yelled as Derek walked over the unconscious boy. He was slight and looked pale but who could blame him he had fallen out of the sky.

"He's a star Scott a rare beautiful being." Derek said as he took his jacket off and placed it over the boy.

"A star? You joking!" Scott said, as he looked down as the older wolf picked the 'star' up.

"I will show you a book."
