Attention readers:
I apologize for the long delay for the fan fiction. I have been real busy as of late that gets in the way of making more chapters and making the second part of the Metal Gear Jade project. Do not fret, I am not abandoning you guys and you will be happy to know that I will be getting back to work after the 4th of July weekend. For the meantime, Here is an excerpt for the upcoming story and a sample of the new part of the Metal Gear Jade Project.
"Soul Fusion! A dying child and mercenaries' union"
Axels tale 1
Axel and Jackie were trapped within a tomb with only a small hole filling the room with the needed oxygen. Jackie had forgotten to bring his archeology tools because he believed that the tomb was stable enough to extract a jewel.
Axel sat down on the nearest stone brick. His amber and sapphire eyes reflected on the jewel that they had obtained. His hair a mixture of black with a streak of green on one of the two bangs on each side of his face. Jackie looked at the former mercenary wondering what he hasn't told him. Of course he told him briefly about how his niece was on the verge of death and somehow this mercenary had fused his soul with hers which gave him some of Jades appearance and personality such as the amber color on his left eye and hair changes.
"Hey Jackie." Axel told the Archeologist. "Let me tell you a tale. It regards of what I have been doing during the year that Jade and I fused our souls." Jackie was shocked. Could he have read his mind? Regardless, Jackie agreed and took a seat across from Axel as he conjured a fire. "Here's my tale."

Countdown to darkness: October
Jade looked at Frostmourne with worry. Soon winter will arrive and She will have to figure out what Tso Lan had told her. She decided to put it aside for the night considering that it is Halloween. This Halloween, she decided to go out as is since people would think that her cybernetic body is a costume.
Jade grabbed her Frostmourne blade and left her apartment that S.H.E.L.D. had provided her with. And since it is located in San Francisco, she is always near home. Her roommate Raiden made sure that Jade is safe and gave her someone that can relate to the pre teen cyborg.
Tarakudo decided to take a break from ruling his designated realm and decided to cause trouble on earth for Halloween.
