"Just then, in that moment, the thought of Gansey leaving for D.C. without him was unbearable. They had been a two-headed creature for so long, Ronan-and-Gansey. He couldn't say it, though. There were a thousand reasons why he couldn't say it." -The Dream Thieves: Book Two of the Raven Cycle

Ronan laid on his bed, trying to forget that, for the first time in years, he was alone. Gansey meant more to him than anyone else, and, once again, he had chosen Adam over him.

He was getting tired of this bullshit.

He knew Gansey only saw him as a friend. Hell, Gansey didn't even know Ronan was gay. Even if he did, what would it solve? Gansey would still have a crush on Blue. He didn't mind that part. If Gansey had to be with anyone, he would want it to be her. But he didn't want to be left behind.

He missed his Gansey, the dangerous, unpredictable boy he had befriended so long ago. Ever since Adam had joined their small group, that Gansey had been disappearing. That Gansey had been replaced by a passive boy who disliked violence.

He had known from the beginning that Gansey would leave him behind. He thought he would be okay with it, but he wasn't.

Ronan swore and punched the wall near his bed.

Why did he have to fall in love with his best friend?

A/N: I ship it. I ship it soooooooo bad. And Ronan came out of the closet in the second book! Yay!
