Blue rolled over, tears streaming down her face again. It wasn't fair. She knew she didn't like Adam. She acknowledged that. She also acknowledged that she was apparently meant to be with Gansey. She didn't like that. She really didn't. She didn't want Gansey.

She wanted Noah.

A watery smile slid onto her face. Perhaps she was only meant to be with Gansey because Noah was already dead.

It didn't matter. Fate would not win this battle. She loved Noah.

Maybe Gansey was supposed to be the love of her life, but Noah was her true love.

Because he was also the love of her death. And one day, she knew, they would be together.
