She's His Sister (Niall and Louis fanfic)
Louis's Point of View:
Me and the boys had our first show in two days. I was at rehearsal with Liam, Niall, and Harry, waiting for Zayn to come. He was probably going to bring his little sister, Lindsay. I loved Lindsay. Not like a friend, though or like a sister. I seriously loved her, but I was almost positive she didn't like me back. Honestly, I don't think she likes anyone. Lindsay's a mute and I've heard from Zayn that the kids at her school like to annoy her and pick on her. I hear that's mainly why she's mute. I've tried multiple times to get her to talk, but all she does is smile and wave. It breaks my heart to see her like that. And the worst part, whenever she wears short sleeves, which is rare, I see scars all over her arms. I pretend I don't see them, but I just want to cry when I see them all. Everytime I see her, I glance down to see if there were any new ones and there always are. And more than one new one. I wanted her to stop so badly. What if she went too far? What if I never saw her again? It scared me just to think that.
I sighed and heard people come in. I turned around and saw Lindsay with Zayn. I immediately smiled at the sight of her. Nobody knows what I would do to just hear her speak once. I smiled again and walked up to her.
"Hey Linz." I said, smiling. She just smiled and waved. Her black hair was down and straightened. She had a little bit of makeup on, and she had long sleeves on.
"Lindsay, go sit. I'll be done soon." Zayn said. She nodded and went to go sit. I sighed and just glared at Zayn.
"What?" He asked.
I just shook my head. "It's nothing."
"Um, okay." After that, we started rehearsing. We went through every song and I was trying to get Lindsay's attention. I kept trying to impress her, but she just kept her head down. I sighed and couldn't wait for rehearsal to be over.
When it finally was, I went and sat next to Lindsay while the boys were talking.
"Hey." She just smiled again. I didn't know what to say to her.
"You okay?" I asked, moving a little closer to her.
She nodded and I knew right then she was lying.
"Come on, Lindsay. Just tell me what's wrong," She looked down and shook her head. I sighed, but I didn't want to leave her. Eventually, I had to. She left with Zayn and I just stayed there for a while.
"Louis, come on." Harry said. I sighed and stood up.
"What's wrong, Boo Bear?" Harry asked.
I just shrugged.
