There was only blood. Blood as far as the eye could see. Myths coming alive, slaying everyone in he general area known as Sol had all but extinguished hope from the royals.

Ember and Blaze, being twins, had both turned sixteen a day before the rise of Karip. Karip, Lupinian Titan of Chaos, had manifested in Ember's body, feeding on his energy. On his sixteenth birthday, he exited Ember through celebratory wine leaving the body. Immediately following a revolting sewer travel, he made his way to Frostwake Forest, the place where Ember was abused in his childhood.

Orthodonus T. Doxith stood no threat to Karip. He was immediately dethroned as Karip's lust for souls consumed his. Ortho's subjects soon bowed down to their new master.

The castle was razed... or so the dark one thought.

Alas, the royals had made tunnel systems, which served as the base of operations.

Our story begins with the Guardian...

"Ember Darkwood, report to the Forge," a voice crackled over the quiet loudspeaker.

"I'm comin', I'm comin'," was his immediate reply. The forge was aptly named- weapons of all sorts were created there. Ember was tasked with creating a whip out of Plasma. It exploded after three days of testing.

Ember stalked along the dimmed halls, assassin training easily making him unnoticable. He crept all the way to the Forge. Upon entry, he gasped.

There, on a tray, were five Throwing Knives, three Sais, a Tomahawk, a shard of granite, and a black robe. Ember checked hi surroundings in the dark room and donned the robe. There were six pockets on the interior, which he filled with his granite and knives. He looped two of the Sais through holes on the inside of the sleeves, tying them in place. He then proceeded to tuck the other Sai and Tomahawk through the belt loops of his jeans.

There was a sarcastic clap coming from the darkness., then a chuckle.

"You're as gullible as they say," it said. "and now it will kill you!" He unleashed a fury of lightning from his fingertips.

Ember let out a blood-curtling scream and crumpled to the floor, his right hand crisscrossed with glowing red lines.
