Stormy Nights And A Birds Flight

A/N: A little TancxEm fic :D BEWARE OF EXTREME FLUFF!

Emma sighed as she looked outside a little window. She was going to go exploring in her 'different' form tonight, but it was ruined by the stupid rain.

She then heard a loud knock.

Frightened, she answered it. There stood Tancred Torrson, his hair crackling like crazy.

"Hey Tanc," Emma said coldly.

He stepped inside. "Hey Em," he replied noticing the cold look in her eyes. He understood immediately.

"I broke up with Tracy," he said quickly.

"So?" Emma said, in a slow monotone.

He sighed. "Look, Em, I know you didn't like her, but at least she didn't say anything to you-"

"Didn't say anything?" Emma exclaimed with a wild look in her grey eyes. "Tancred Torrson! That is a LIE!"

Tancred, taken aback said, "Well, what did she say?"

"Oh, I don't know, let's see, she said that i was a stupid little girl with nothing but crazy dreams, she insulted me for a while, but I will never forget her last words," Emma said shrilly, but ending on a dead tone.

"That was?" Tancred said, clueless.

"To stay away from you, or I was dead meat," Emma replied in a cold voice.

Tancred felt the blood in his veins run cold as he looked at the younger girl before him.

FLASHBACK!

"Oh Tanc," Tracy sighed.

"Yeah?" He said with a grin, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Why is that bird girl such an...I don't know, an oddity?" she said, giving him her big blue eye look.

Tancred felt a stab of indignation. "She's not an oddity Trace," he muttered in her ear.

She shrugged.

END FLASHBACK!

He looked at Emma, her eyes full with glistening tears that hadn't yet fallen from her eyes. Slowly, he took her hand, caressing her palm with his thumb. She said in a apathetic whisper, "Go get her back."

His blond hair crackling with confusion, he looked down at the girl, "Who?"

Emma sighed. "Tracy, after she's the best you can have."

Tancred drew a blank look, thinking of how Tracy always had a hint of indignation when he mentioned Emma. He took a deep breath, looked into Emma's soft gray eyes and said, "Why would I do that when the best thing I can have is standing right in front of me."

Emma met his gaze. A tear made its way down her face, and before it hit the ground, Tancred wiped it away with his thumb. He then tilted her chin back, and came down to meet her lips in a chaste kiss. Bliss washed over the pair as they stood there, holding hands. They watched each other before meeting in another kiss, this time more bold. After all it was a stormy night, and aa bird was just going to begin to take flight.
