Esposito calls lanie to talk about the betrayal of Ryan. Ryan may have said he was sorry but at that moment, He didn't care. Lanie asks what happened with the case and with Beckett. He tells her that she resigned. She handed in her badge and gun and walked away from everything. Esposito was put on administrative leave. Lanie talked for about 15 more minutes saying that everything would be okay in the end.
Lanie calls Beckett but no answer. So she decided to go over to her apartment and it was empty. Maybe she went to her mom's grave, or to the swings Kate had told her about.
"Kate" She said, There was no answer so she left worrying about her best friend.
Lanie called Esposito.
"Espo, I can't find her. I can't find Kate. What if the sniper got to her on her way home. I checked her apartment and no sign of her. She should have been home by now."
"Lanie, Calm down we will find her. Let's call Castle and see if he has seen her. I doubt it but it's a try." Javi said.
::Castle' phone rings but he doesn't answer, He is preoccupied with the visitor he has.::
"Damnit, He isn't picking up either. We should try to go see if he is at least home." Javi said to lanie when he called her back.
Rick is discarding the jacket he just unbuttoned off Kate and was Kissing her neck. Kate was unbuttoning his shirt when there was a knock at the door.
"Sh, Don't answer it," Kate whispered as she kissed him once again.
::knock Knock::
"Kate, If I do not answer it, they won't go away and I would have to stop doing this." He says and he unbuttons the rest of her shirt.
"Damnit Castle, If you are in there Open up!" Lanie yells when there is again no answer.
"Rick, What the hell do I do. They do not know I came here. Oh my god. Lanie probably went to my apartment looking for me and I wasn't there."
"Kate, I don't know, What we should do... I will ju..." He doesn't finish what he was saying.
Before Kate went over and opened up the door to a frightened looking Esposito and Lanie.
Lanie just standing there staring at her.
"Um, Kate, You might want to button up your shirt before anyone else see you like that." Lanie exclaimed with a cheerful voice.
Kate is looking at herself dumbfounded. "Right, Did you guys want something?" Kate replied as she was bright red from blushing.
"Yes! We need to talk like now!" Lanie bit her lip as she said it very loudly where Castle could hear it.
"Oh great, Here comes the death sentence from Esposito." Kate heard Rick say quietly in the background which made her laugh out loud suddenly which made him smile because he loved hearing her laugh.
