He was after revenge. He waited and waited for a perfect time to gain his revenge on the two beings that defeated him.
And now he will strike.
It was a beautiful sunny day. A brunette girl was sitting on the grass, reading a book. Her Digimon partner, a white feline with blue eyes, was peeking at the book occasionally.
"Hikari" the feline said eventually
"What is it, Gatomon?"
"I feel it...I feel that Myotismon is back...he is after you and me...and he wants revenge."
"But we have defeated him three times!"
"I worked for him once. I just know that he is back."
"You're right about that." a voice hissed into Hikari's ear
"Phantomon!" Gatomon yelled, baring her teeth and extending her claws towards her enemy.
"Leave him to me, Gatomon. You go fetch the Digimental Digidestined." urged Hikari
Gatomon nodded, and ran off.
"You're only one now."
"I'm not the same weak child I once was" warned Hikari, pinning Phantomon the ground " And Gatomon isn't the mindless slave she once was either. I don't even get sick anymore, and Gatomon is stronger now, she can evolve to Nefertimon. Now, this is not yours anymore." she said, snatching his trademark scythe from Phantomon. She then used his own weapon to shatter his data.
As she turned around and watched Gatomon come closer, with Digimental Digidestined following, she smiled.
"Good work, Gatomon." she said as the white feline jumped into her arms.
"Good work yourself, Hikari."
As the Digimental Digidestined, including Hikari and Takeru, gathered around, both Hikari and Gatomon knew.
The girl and her feline knew that a battle with Myotismon had just begun.
