Harry was climbing the shattered staircase to the Gryffindor common room when he reached the fat lady portrait he suddenly remembered, I don't know the pass word," so I don't suppose you would let me in with out the pass word would you," he asked the portrait and as expected she answered, "sorry but you need the pass word to get in."

Then he heard the of what he thought was an angel "the pass word is Dumbledore," the voice said. Harry turned around and found Ginny standing there looking slightly worn out from trying to find him but he thought she was the most gorgeous creature to walk the Earth.

"so are you just going to stand there all day with your mouth open or are you going to go in and get some sleep like you told my dear brother you would," Ginny said with a smirk that warmed Harry's heart, but then he remembered Fred and hung his head and looked away from the beautiful creature before him and said in a slalom voice," I'm sorry."

She came up to him and lifted his head and told him in a soft tone" it's not your fault it was the death eaters that killed my brother and friends but I know they wouldn't want us to just sit and mope we should be celebrating I know its hard but we need to let go of our grief and move toward the future," she paused for a moment as a tent of red graced her face as she continued, "a future for me and you…together…I hope."

To say the least Harry was shocked he thought she would want nothing to do with him, he cupped her cheek with his hand and gently brushed his chapped lips against hers, and right then there was a wolf whistle from the stair case they jumped apart and look toward a pale but snickering George that was followed by the entire Weasley family and Hermione most of them look surprised but Ron just yawned and said are we just going to stand here or are we going to get some well deserved rest and everyone just laughed and went up to the dorms.
