This is the story of Yumi Mio..
I also do not own Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds!
Yumi Mio was born in New Domino City. Her parents were one of the few scientists that helped with the research of the Ener-D Reactor. Yumi's father, Mr .Mio, was a close friend of Mr. Fudo since they had know each other since they were young. Yumi was born a couple months after Yusei was born and Yumi became Yusei's first friend that he had ever had.
When Zero Reverse was about to occur, just like when Dr. Fudo put Yusei in the escape pod, Dr. Mio did the exact same with Yumi. When he placed Yumi into the escape pod he also included a diary of what had happened in in life as a scientist so that he knew that his child wouldn't have her questions about her parents go unanswered. He was aware of what Roman was up to. He wanted to warn his friend about Roman's plan but it too late. Zero Reverse was about to take place. Then along with his friend, he was killed in the accident knowing that his daughter was destined for greatness(A/N I know its chesy)
