Inspiration: In English we had to write three "I Am" poems, one about ourselves, one about a character we read about in class, and one about another character. I wrote two about the last one. I am the Doctor
I am the Oncoming Storm and the last of my kind
I wonder if I will always be traveling alone
I hear the music of people's minds
I see all that is, was, and ever could be
I want to save everyone

I pretend that everything is all right
I feel the rotation of the Earth
I touch time and space and people's hearts
I worry if what I do is for the best
I cry because I lost everything I ever loved
I am the Oncoming Storm and the last of my kind
I understand that you cannot change something once it has happened
I say bananas are good
I dream about the war, pain, and suffering that I can't stop
I try to end the destruction of planets
I hope that just once, everybody lives
