Ron entered the hotel room to find both Hermione and Harry sleeping. They were sharing the only bed in the Muggle hotel room. Backs pressed together and laying on top of the blankets, they slept as if they had only just fallen there and passed out. The three of them were touring the U.S. campaigning for SPEW and while it was going really well, it was beyond tiring doing multiple interviews and lectures each day.
Ron stood at the end of the bed and watched them both for a moment, and he smiled. After all these years, he was still amazed by the friendship he had found with these two. He let himself be awash with reminiscing and emotion, brought on by his own tired state, content to watch his best friends simply breath in and out. Holding tight to the mantra of "we made it," which even after all the years since the war seemed so bloody impossible.
Finally he shook his head, and his smile turned to a grin. Launching himself so his knees landed between their legs, Ron gave a playful roar, "Harry Potter, are you sleeping with my wife?"
Both of them shot up, and looked around in sleep blurred confusion. As soon as Hermione caught sight of Ron though, she sent a little wandless hex that knocked him back off the bed and settled back into her pillow. Harry just blinked and then chuckled. "Hey Ron."
Ron righted himself from the floor with a smile. "Good morning."
"For Merlin's sake it's three," Hermione groaned. "And if you don't let me sleep Ronald"-
"Yes dear," Ron responded and crawled back on the bed. Harry and Hermione both made room, Hermione wedged in the middle. She played big spoon to Ron, and soon settled back into sleep. Before Harry drifted off, Ron whispered, "Your wife going to miss you?"
Harry just grunted, "She's on the other side of the world you watching playing quidditch, what do you think?" He soon started to snore quietly, the leftover of a cold.
Ron shrugged to himself, still unsure what he felt about Harry and Ginny's marriage, but soon joined the other two in sleep, feeling the warmth of Hermione behind him. All seemed good in the world to Ron Weasley, they had mad it.
