A mother watched over her sleeping son as she played with his hair softly listening to his light snores and mutters of his dreams. Suddenly the bedroom door thrashed open; revealing two tall men that were on a mission to take away her son.

The mother's scream of horror pierced the night as her son had disappeared from the bed and she knew that he was gone forever.

Delia shot up from her soaked pillow and sat in darkness, it was only a nightmare. The only word that she could say was 'Ash'.

Misty was quickly walking up and down the bedroom angrily as she tried to calm herself down before she lost it.

Brock came out of the bathroom to see what the matter was his friend.

"What's up with you?" asked Brock, watching the angry teen.

"Him!" shouted Misty, pointing to the sleeping figure in the bottom bunk.

"I didn't get any sleep with this snoring lump below me," Misty snapped and threw a load of pillows at the sleeping figure.

"Hey! What's the big idea?" grumbled Ash, trying to defend himself from Misty's attack.

Brock rolled his eyes and watched the pair argue. He had seen this all before, but he knew this was no argument; it was Ash's and Misty's way of flirting.

"I'm going to leave you two to flirt while I collect the pokemon," said Brock and left the room without listening to Ash's and Misty's abuse to the 'flirt' word being mentioned.

"I'm going with Brock where I can get some peace and quiet," moaned Misty.

"Good," replied Ash, throwing a pillow in her direction. He punched the air as it was a direct hit; it had messed up Misty's neatly arranged hair. However, Misty made no comment and left the room by the harsh slam of the door.

Ash slowly brought his feet to the cold wooden floor and turned on the television before making his way over to the bathroom.

He stared at himself in the mirror, checking his face for any signs of acne or beard growth, but they weren't any.

He began brushing his teeth when an announcement on television made Ash froze as the reporter spoke, "Now we will follow on with the breaking news. The guards of the King and Queen of Summerville have been reported to visit a house in Pallet town, but the question is why this house?"

Ash's chocolate eyes widened and he rushed over to the television as he continued to watch the report. "Let's go to our reporter, Wesley King, who is in Pallet town to give us an update."

The screen had come into view of a middle aged man standing in a smart brown suit and holding a microphone in his hands.

"As we have just been hearing the guards of the King and Queen of Summerville have entered this house, behind me…"

The camera slowly zoomed out and suddenly revealed a white house with a small fence surrounding it. Ash couldn't believe it, his whole body shook of upset and fear on what was in store for his mother and himself.

"Ash!"

Brock and Misty had burst into the room after watching the report from downstairs in the Pokemon centre.

"That's my house," Ash stuttered and his eyes rolled back.

He fainted on the spot and his friends managed to catch him from receiving a painful landing.

"We have to go to Pallet town to see what's going on," reported Brock seriously.

"For Ash's sake," whispered Misty, staring at Ash's pale face.

It's a bit of a short start, but hopefully the next chapter will be a lil longer. Please review!!
