Posted it on tumblr earlier this week so though I should post it here too.

Inspired by dianaagron Superstar!AU, especially the lines: "daisuke misinterpreting ken's compliments as a best friend proposal […] ken accepting the fact that he'll never get rid of daisuke at that point so he might as well just roll with it."

This entire AU gives me life. Check out her edits/graphics on tumblr. It's amazing.

Since I had to think of a title to post it here, I went with the song "C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h." by One Ok Rock because I liked the idea of Owl Zone singing that song.

Ken was trying to relax, browsing the web as the TV was on some variety show. His attention was taken as he saw Owl Zone was one of the guests.

"We heard that you are now good friends with Ichijouji Ken," asked the MC in a tone meaning that it was completely improbable.

"Yeah, we are like, best bros now" quickly announced Daisuke.

Ken blinked rapidly, surprised. That was news to him.

"We hung out the other day and we have a connection, you know? We were made to be bros."

Takeru coughed few times which made the MC turn her attention to him but Ken was just staring at his TV.

They were "bros" now? How can a quick beer one night after two times meeting equaled being "bros".

The MC continued to talk about their newest single and Daisuke continued to pout over Takeru's "rude" interruption.

Ken wasn't sure what to think.

"The promotion for it is perfect!" his manager told him in a excited tone few days later. "The fans love the bromance." Ken wanted to say something against but his manager continued: "Besides, you need friends your age. Even better if they are in the industry."

And to that, Ken couldn't reply.

Ken wasn't surprised when Daisuke invited him to hang out, as he'd say. What surprised Ken was when their meeting spot became a park.

"I felt like playing soccer, and you did say you played until recently," he grinned, "are you ready to get your ass kicked?"

Ken snorted. "You wish."

"We heard that you are great friend with Daisuke from Owl Zone," the female MC mentioned suddenly. The way she had stressed "great" almost made Ken laugh.

"I am" he replied, modest. "He is a fun guy."

"But what do you? You guys seem like total opposite," the male MC with sunglasses added which made Ken smile a little.

"I thought the same at first, but the other day we played soccer and it was really fun."

"Soccer?" the female MC exclaimed.

"Who won?" the male MC asked in a laugh.

He smiled. "I did."

"You are drooling."

Miyako quickly brought her hand to her mouth and cursed when she realized she had fallen into Hikari's trap.

"Was not."

"Then stop staring or you'll drill a hole in his head."

She scowled. Hikari should definitively stop hanging out with Takeru, he was too much of a bad influence. "I was not."

Hikari only smiled which infuriated her even more. She shouldn't be scowling on TV. She shouldn't be staring at a (cute) singer too.

As if he had heard her mind, he glanced back at her. She blushed but didn't look away.

The female MC said something, bringing back Ken's attention to the small monitor in from of him.

Miyako refrained herself of grunting on national television.

She had it so bad.

(Hikari smiled at Miyako's reaction and the tip of Ken's ears being red. She refrained to say anything because there was no need to say it… yet.)

The End…?

Again, thanks to dianaagron for creating this AU. The last part is inspired by TV Asahi's Music Station because I just keep thinking what could happen if the groups were at that show and feels.

I might try to write more of Kenyako in this universe (with Daisuke because Daisuke).
