Under Covers

(7/26/10)

After Gibbs was nowhere to be seen from the bullpen, Ziva shot Tony a little smirk. Tony offered a knowing smirk in return. Tony loved that it was his and Ziva's little secret. Actually, it was a BIG secret. If Gibbs ever found out, they would both be out of a job, let alone what Abby, Ducky, and Probie would think.

Going undercover as Mr. And Mrs. Ranier had definitely been his favorite assignment by far, even if it had almost gotten himself killed. Hey, it wasn't the first time. He and Ziva had to pretend to be a happily married couple of assassins,. They had been told to make it convincing, or risk blowing their cover. They discussed it, and settled on sex.

And what better way to make it convincing than to be actually doing it?

He remembered when Ziva suggested it. It absolutely floored him. Him and Ziva? Doing the deed? It was outrageous, unthinkable….and crazy enough it just might've worked. And worked it did, for no one suspected a thing. They kept cover, and the mission went off without a hitch.

Though the FBI suspected they weren't faking, only Ziva and Tony knew the truth. That night was magical, and unforgettable. Since then, Tony couldn't take his eyes off Ziva. All he could think off was the scent and silkiness of her hair, the softness of her bare skin under his hands. Making love to Ziva broke rule #12 in all ways possible, but to him it was the rightest thing in the world. He couldn't understand how he'd ignored it all this time. Not only did he care for Ziva, he loved her, and there was no turning back.

She flipped her long black hair over her shoulder and left for the elevator, leaving Tony to stare after her with a goofy grin on his face.

"She's gonna make me sweat, isn't she?" he thought sourly. "She's gonna torment me with that body of hers until I snap." Frustrated, he gathered his things and also headed to the elevator. "It's gonna be a long night."

Once back at his apartment, he stripped and stepped into the hot, steamy shower. He groaned and ran his hands through his hair as thoughts of Ziva immediately consumed him. Tony leaned against the wall, trying to expel the memories that were circulating through his mind. Giving up, he shut off the water, wrapped a towel around his waist, and dialed Ziva's number.

"Ziva, you can't deny the feelings we have for each other. I'm ready to admit it, are you?" He was greeted with silence. "I need you," He whispered softly. There was a short pause.

"I'll see you in 15 minutes."

Then softer, and sultrily, "Don't be dressed."

A/N: I have started the next chapter but it's no wheres near done yet. It needs some MAJOR editing, so be patient! I really love reviews...they make me feel like people are actually reading, so click the little blue button! Even if you don't write much, it still means a lot.
