Chapter One: A New Game
Link was asleep in his tree house when a fairy flew through the window shouting.
"Wake up, Link. You have to go see the Deku Tree." Shouted the little fairy.
"I'm up, I'm up." said Link getting out of bed fully dressed.
"Well go see the Deku Tree right away!" said the fairy flying away.
"I can never rest since the Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask incident can I?" muttered Link to himself while climbing out of his tree house.
When he got to the bottom of the tree he met his friend Saria. Saria shouted to Link "Where are you going today Link? The Lost Woods, Hyrule Field, Zora's Domain, or The Goron Village?"
"I have to go see the 'Great' Deku Tree." Link replied.
"Wow, Link! That is a great honor!"
"It was two times ago." Link replied solemnly.
"Well see you later, Link." Saria replied running toward the Lost Woods.
"Yea, see you later. If I don't have another quest." Link muttered to himself as he continued toward the Deku Tree.
Right before Link got to the Deku Tree, Mido stopped him. "You must have a sword and shield to pass, Link!" Mido shouted stopping Link.
"How many times do I have to go through this, Mido? Here's my sword and here's my shield. Now let me pass! I was told I have to go see the Deku Tree by a fairy." Link said annoyed.
"Ok, I guess I have to let you pass, but I still don't like you no fairy boy!" shouted Mido as he ran past Link going home.
"That never gets old. I still don't get why no one remembers the Ocarina of Time incident," said Link as he continued to walk toward the Deku Tree.
"Welcome, Link," said the Deku Tree as Link got near.
"Yea, Yea. What quest do you have for me this time, Tree?" said Link more annoyed than usual.
"All you have to do this time is bring Princess Zelda to me." The Deku Tree answered.
"That's it? I won't need any kind of items? Ocarina of Time, Bombchu's, Bomb Bag, Fairy's Bow, Fairy's Sling Shot, Magic, Hookshot, Megaton Hammer, Boomerang, or perhaps the Eye of Truth?" Link asked as he looked through the contents of his bag.
"You shouldn't need none, but they may help."
"Ok then I'm off." Link said as he ran out of the forest egger to get this quest over with.
"He is always so eager," said the Deku Tree to Navi. "Go help Link, he may need your help."
"Ok," Navi answered as she rushed to follow Link.
"All according to plan," said the Deku Tree as Link followed by Navi left the woods.
Link was about to rush out of the forest when Saria stopped him.
"So you are leaving again?" Saria asked Link.
"Not really. I will be back soon. The Deku Tree sent me on a quest to bring Princess Zelda to the forest, so I will be back soon." Link said.
"Oh that is good," said Saria "but before you go I would like you to have these, I found them in the forest," said Saria handing the item to him.
"The Double Clawshots? I remember these," said Link looking at the Double Clawshots, "Oh, I used these in another incident… You had to be there," said Link answering Saria's puzzled look.
"Well I guess I should be off." said Link leaving the forest.
"Take care, Link!" shouted Saria to Link.
