Somebody to Love
As Maka Lay motionless on her bed studying, other things were on her mind. She thought about how even when she was with her friends she felt alone. That feeling bothered her to the point she ran by Soul in an uncomfortable tone. As usual his somewhat gloomy outlook didn`t help at all. She ate her dinner silently. Even Blair's sappy sympathy didn`t make her feel any better. She went to bed her heart heavy and her mind severely confused.
She woke up to her alarm clock nearly having an aneurysm. Usually she was excited for school but not today. She endured her lectures as usual but her mind was adrift. Maybe just maybe the source of her loneliness was her being single! For once the little blonde meister thought like a girl. She looked around the room for available boys. Her wandering eyes settled on Soul. I guess in some light he`s cute.
She eagerly approached him after school. She talked to him in a far off voice. He thought nothing of it even when she smiled at him while twirling one of her pigtails. Maka sat as close to him as possible during dinner. She small talked him into studying with her after dinner. She zoned off dreaming what would happen while they were studying. When she was done she collected his dishes as she was walking by she sassily flicked her skirt in his face. He smiled to himself to the point where he started drooling.
She tried to decide what position to sit in. She sat with most of her legs exposed. She called him into her room, she took out a text book he sat on her bed. We need pencils and some paper she said to him. She got up to get some supplies from her desk.
I don`t get this he said in an annoyed voice. What she asked he pointed to a paragraph. She put her head on his shoulder she read the frustratingly tiny print on the page. She started explaining the confusing concept after about a minute of explaining he got bored. Maybe I like her he thought he slowly drew closer. He looked into her beautiful green eyes. He kissed her, her look of surprise slowly turned into a look of exticy.
