Wahoo! Finally done this! Man, I hope I didn't go too out of character. There's some lines here that I really don't like xD. Oh well. Review, please!

Alchemy was one thing, and he has aged to understand that; but this infatuation is a magic of its own.

Every sight and movement, every strain of a muscle and furtive stretch to rid of stiffness, a wince of the eye turned to avoid making contact and confirming weakness. This is magic.

Winry is beautiful, and she doesn't need makeup to attain it. Even in her mechanics attire, sweat crowded in small jaded beads, azure orbs burning with determination and passion.

Love.

Edward loves her. He loves her smiles, the twists of her flaxen hair, the kisses she'll place on his head and cheek and neck.

In way she will never know how he feels. Every morning is a little more of a beginning, and every night is just another page in their chronicles, stored, burrowed deep into the folds on his heart and soul.

But Edward is flawed in the eyes of the beholder. He is sinned and tainted past the states of re-growth, and there is no going back anymore. Yesterday is lost in the void of regrets.

And being with Winry means that he has to try a little harder, strive a little sounder, and pursuit a little stronger, in order to visit as much as he would like to.

But magic is not real, and this crush is a taboo against his promise to Al. Yet he's not giving up, just blinded by azure eyes. In sleep. In wake. In breath.

And in a way it's a little slice of insanity overcoming him, tearing at him, and creating a quench. An addiction.

I can never find the words, to tell you…
To say goodbye. To say sorry. To say you're scared. To say 'I love you'.

In never works to plan out your reactions, as they spill and unwind in patterns the eye cannot sort, but merely sit and gape at the reality of your words. The beauty of it.

Perhaps you can never change your ways, open your heart and mind and mouth to your feelings. But you can try.
