Harry's year started out as any other year, got on the train, attacked Malfoy with a curse of some find, got of the train, walled into the Great Hall, and sat down. The only change was that Hermione wasn't with them. Ron and Harry thought that maybe she had done what they had done in 2nd year where they couldn't get through so they flew in a car. But after so consideration they both decided that Hermione would never do that. All through the sorting and meal Harry keep his worry about Hermione in the back of his mind while enjoy the excellent food. What had happened to her, was she ok, gulp had Voldemort gotten her? When Dumbledore stood up his question was answer. After giving the regular announcements he added, "And now I am happy to be privileged in the great honor of introducing our next guest, the wizarding world knows her as Amanda Jones but we know her a Hermione Granger. She will be performing her new hit, Only Hope. A girl with long wavy sleek hair in ropes make of shimmering fabric that set out her dazzling eyes. She gave the crowd a shy smile and the soft musical beginning notes began.

Harry and Ron gaped at her. This was Hermione, the bookworm who was always telling them off the bushy haired, somewhat bucktoothed girl who had broken the law with a time turner just to same a hippogriff and a "murder"? She was so...beautiful. Harry had never thought of Hermione as more then a friend never in a loving way, but now, how could you not?

Suddenly Harry thought of Malfoy and how he would be reaction. He looked over a him and to Harry's amusement saw a expression of wonder and bewilderment along with his gaping mouth and wide eyes. But Hermione's sweet melodies brought his gaze back to her tall and sleek figure who was now on top of the teacher's table sing.
