Mont Velyor, the Hextech Footman
They picked him up at one of the ruins of a Zaunite laboratory. The soldiers dispatched for his capture had an incredibly difficult time catching him due to his feral and volatile nature. Casualties were high, but it would have been higher were it not for the Machine Herald himself to assist in the capture. As he cut through swathes of soldiers, Viktor took him down with ease as he laid down his gravity field, crumpling the target.
To Viktor, he was beautiful.
Fueled by hextech from head to toe with little of his flesh remaining, save for a majority of his organs and his precious brain. Held in a powerful, yet light, metal carapace, the combination of organic and mechanical life-saving systems kept the target at constant condition ready for battle. No semblance of his original face remained, instead a wide glass visor where his eyes should be, with metal plates surrounding the rest of his head. If he could feel joy, Viktor would have jumped from it, but instead chose to recognize this machine as his own creation, which was compliment enough for him. After the disgraceful incident with Jayce with the large crystal, Viktor no longer felt shame due to the efficient nature of his mindset, but still held on to the sting of defeat. He was always defeated, but what knelt before him was one of his greatest successes.
Only Mont Velyor didn't think so.
He saw himself as a disgrace to his home, Demacia. The improved capabilities only show his curse and misfortune, along with feeding his shattered state of mind. He only saw himself as broken and unfit to serve anyone, despite being a capable fighter and still having the will to fight. Without a purpose or a master, he was only a monster waiting for his wrath to be unleashed. The higher-ups within the Institute of War saw it as a benefit for capturing Mont Velyor; it meant that there were fewer casualties on the streets and another fighter for the summoners to use in their endeavor of keeping the peace throughout Valoran.
For now, Mont Velyor had a purpose: fight to forget.
Abilities
Passive: Dispersion Field
Every basic attack that hits Mont Velyor stacks, causes him to charge his shield. This increases his armour by 5% per stack (up to 6 stacks) that lasts 5 seconds in the direction that his shield is facing. The next attack that hits the shield, it explodes, dealing a flat amount of damage per level and scales with armour.
Q: Hex-fueled Hurricane/Spin!
Mont Velyor charges his blade to release a spinning strike, hitting enemies in a radius depending on where his shield placement. If Mont Velyor maxes his charge, he damages each enemy twice and slows them for 1 second. Mont Velyor can activate this while running and the spell can be activated earlier for smaller damage.
W: Hexed Anguish/Cry!
Mont Velyor charges for 5 seconds to scream in an area in front of him, reducing their movement speed and stealing armour for 4 seconds. The distance gets larger the longer Mont Velyor charges his scream. If Mont Velyor maxes the charge, the enemy is silenced for 2 seconds.
E: Sword Style!
Mont Velyor fastens his shield on his back, changing his fighting style into a two handed swordsman. He deals more damage for his basic attack and has increased base movement and base attack speed at the cost of his armour. Activate again to bring the shield back.
E: Shields Up!
Mont Velyor holds his shield, bringing a more defensive stance.
R: Shield Discharge/Release!
Mont Velyor draws on his defensive energies to charge his shield up to 7 seconds (gaining added armour and magic resistance during the charge in the direction the shield is facing), and by the end of that time he discharges a large damaging beam in the direction his shield is facing that knocks both him and the enemy back. The damage done is based on the how long the skill was charged. He loses 15% armour after the cast. Mont Velyor can activate the skill again to discharge earlier for a smaller amount of damage.
