How do you think the Gamekeepers figure out how to make the Games as brutal and psychologically messed up as possible? Well, they all sit around, make up a bunch of ideas, and test them out. And where do they get their test subjects? Of course from the irrelevant, impoverished Districts who would supposedly do anything to avoid starvation, or more importantly, putting their names into the Reaping a few extra times. And given the fact that participating in a few tests is probably safer than being sent into the Arena with 23 competitors trying to kill you, it cannot be that bad, right?
Right?
Hmph, we will see about that.
Looking for 8 OC's for this story, the form is below. Just to note a few things;
I would prefer to not have any characters related to any characters from the Hunger Games Series (Ex. Peeta's long lost sister, or Katniss's best friend.) It's cool if they know (As acquaintances) or have heard of past tributes or other characters in the series though.
I would like to have a paragraph (5-8 sentences) for appearances, two paragraphs for personality, and at least one paragraph for the history. To be able to decide how effective the characters will be, it makes my job a lot easier if I can get some in depth information about them.
No one is perfect, and that includes characters, especially considering that they are coming from the more poverty stricken Districts in Panem. So if you can give these characters some flaws along with the good personality traits, that would be nice.
If possible, I would like the characters to be between the ages of 12-18. This is because the testing program is only applicable to those ages- after all, those Gamekeepers want to see how kids and teenagers react to their plans, since it is that age group that with have to deal with said plans in the Hunger Games.
Sorry if I seem a bit bossy with the rules, I just want to make sure the plotline I have created will fit with the chracters I receive, although undoubtably I will have to make some changes.
Thanks, and May the Odds be Ever in Your Favour!
