A/N: Challenge fic for 'The Weird Challenge' created by the lovely Bittersweet Cupcakes4. My pairing was Lucius and Severus and my prompt was snow. I tried to put them into character as much as possible but I know it wasn't perfect, but I am ok with that. So here it is. Enjoy.

The Past

"We can't keep doing this Severus," Lucius spat at Severus who was walking down the grind staircase into the entrance hall.

"Why?" he asked Lucius, a little taken aback but regained his head.

"Because it is wrong, disgusting, dirty. We have to stop," he said angrily. Severus moved down the stairs moving uncomfortably close to Lucius. Lucius backed up and held out his hand making Severus stop.

"I mean it Severus," he sneered. Severus smiled and looked towards the great oak doors.

"I was just going to go for a walk. You know while it is still snowing," he said. Lucius bit his lip and followed Severus into the cold night air.

The snow was weakening more of a grey slush covering the grounds. They stood out on the platform just outside the door and watched the sleet fall down. Severus moved his hand down and held Lucius'.

"You know, we don't have to end it, yet," Severus smiled, something about Lucius made him confident and happy. He looked sideways at Lucius who was standing frozen daring not to move.

"Think about it, this started when the snow started, so maybe we should end it when the snow ends," he said turning to Lucius. Lucius stayed where he was and Severus lifted is hand up and caressed Lucius' face. Lucius looked at Severus and a soft smile spread across his face. They leant into each other and kissed softly.

"Now stop all this silliness and walk with me," Severus said taking Lucius' hand again and walking out into the grounds letting the sleet cover them.

…...

Severus sat in his office and looked at the photo in his top draw. Of him and Lucius messing around while they were at school. He smiled to himself before quickly putting the photo away.

"Get a hold of yourself," he sneered to himself. "It's all in the past," he said leaning back in his chair. "All in the past."
