Dragging the tube of chapstick across her lips, Kagome got a deliciously evil idea as she watched Jaken squawk. She noticed how dry his lips were; so dry in fact, it made her cover lips with another coat of balm for good measure. Having the feeling he was being watched, Jaken looked over his shoulder and noticed the miko putting some type of unknown substance on her lips, grinning at him foolishly.
"What is it, girl?" Jaken demanded.
"Jaken, I have something I'd like to share with you if you would let me touch you." Kagome replied sweetly. Eyeing her suspiciously he did not stop her as she left her resting spot under the tree and approached him, holding the tube out for his inspection. Taking it in his hand, he looked it over then handed it back, giving a curt nod of approval.
"I'm going to rub it on your lips like I did mine, ok? It will help your lips from being so dry." Kagome explained. Crouching down to Jaken's level she took his chin and applied the chapstick.
"Jaken, one more thing," Kagome commented as he began to walk away, "You do realize we have kissed by proxy." Smiling maniacally she held up the tube.
At the sound of Jaken's shriek laughter erupted through the camp. The laughter became uncontrollable as he scrambled out of camp, wiping his mouth frantically on his sleeve. Kagome threw the tube of lip balm into the fire.
