Okay, I blame a lack of sleep, stress overload, too much para para music, and a broken brain for this one. A-yup. Oh yeah, and having finally caught up with the Soul Eater manga in 3 days.

Disclaimer: I own stuff? Whoa snap! Since when! What? I don't? Well, way to kill a girls dreams...

-.-

Maka Albarn sighed as she walked down the halls of Shibusen Academy. It was a Friday evening and she had finally gotten out of Shinigami-sama's office (stupid papa for delaying her) and she was quite ready to head back to her apartment for a nice, quiet evening of studying.

But, as she walked, she thought it was quite odd. She hadn't seen head nor tail of any of her friends since she left the office. This in and of it's self wasn't entirely strange, but the fact that they had all seemed kind of excited earlier that day was. They kept referencing something that was going on tonight...

Well, whatever. Whatever it was, it didn't have to do with her.

She had no idea how wrong she was.

-.-

"Soul, did you put on the ri-" Maka began as she walked into the apartment she shared with Soul when she stopped. Standing in the middle of their living room was, well, everyone. Soul, Black Star, Tsubaki, and the rest of Spartoi. And they were doing some strange dance to very upbeat music.

"Ah, Maka, there you are." Soul turned to her, not stopping for a second from his dance, "Took you long enough."

Maka just stood there in shock for a few seconds before she could control her mouth enough to for coherent words, "What in the world is going on here?" She demanded.

"It's Para Para Night, obviously." Liz answered as the song reached what sounded like the chorus and everyone spun to the left together.

"Para Para?" Maka asked, more than a bit confused.

"Yeah, you know, para para dance!" Liz explained (or not), "Come on! Join us!" She stepped away from the group to grab Maka and drag her in. Maka shrugged, she might as well. It didn't look like she had much of a chance of getting away, and even if she did, there was no way she was getting any studying done with this racket going on just outside her bedroom. Plus, how much could taking a break for one evening hurt?

-.-

There, I'm not dead! But I will be soon! I have THREE finals this week! Stupid term ending... At least I'll be done with math, halleluiah.
