Ocean liner Victoria
North Atlantic
Charles walked outside to the open deck of the ocean liner Victoria. He had of enough of parties and drinks for the evening. As he was looked up to the night sky he could see the stars of the Orion belt, Polaris and many more. Charles miss the piece and quite the stars brought they didn't talk about war; they didn't talk about politics, or about racism. They just floated in the night sky like a beacon of hope for all to envy. There was a cold chill in the air and Charles began to button up his pea coat when he felt something in his pocket it was a picture on the back it said June 21, 1950 the year he was drafted into the air force, on the photo was a picture of his family. Charles stood in the center of the photo in graduation gown on to the right of him stood his father senator Arthur York and to his left his mother with his two brothers standing at each end of his parents. As Charles was glazing at the picture the doors to the ball room flew up and two men came out at that moment Charles knew who those men were, they were his brother James and Richard. James was attending Yale for business and was slim with light brown hair his brother Richard was attending Harvard he want to be a doctor many thought he was a splitting imagine of Charles expect for the fact that they were three apart. James was the drunker of the two and said "char….Charles where did you going there's ladies in there waiting for you". Even at four paces from another Charles could smell the champagne in James breath. Charles turned and looked at Richard who was holding James. James stood up straight and look Charles in the eyes and said "come on it been a few month since you got your discharge papers from the air force the less you can do is have fun with your brothers". Charles was about to say something when Richard said something "and don't give us that bullshit about adjusting back to civilian life we been a week out trying and mom and pops want you have fun to". Charles said ''ok will be there shortly" and with that Richard and James went back to thru the door they came from. It's been one month since Charles left the air force, but to him it felt like life time ago and now he needed to live in the present. Just as Charles was about to turn something swam by really fast past the ship, within moments a huge robotic tentacle came out of the water and struck the ship within moments the ship ball room door flew open and people began to run out. Charles began running in the crowd looking for his brother's screaming their names "James, Richard" .Without warning another tentacle came down and cause once the life raft to fly straight to him.
