Okay, I'm sure that everyone knows the drill. These characters don't belong
to me. They belong to the talented Yukie Nasu-sama and anyone else involved
in all that legal stuff. Believe me, if it DID belong to me, Mitsuru and
Shinobu would be a definite couple and Fujikake and Yoshiki would appear
far more often ^^;
Oh yes, and I know they might be out of character, but I did my best so nyah :P ^_^
Erm, anyway, on with the show-er story.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

". . ."
Tap. Tap. Tap. "This is ridiculous!" The hand that had been typing the pen only moments before threw it down in frustration.
"Whatever do you mean?" no reaction to the outburst.
"This! Can't we come up with something better to do than this?!" At the frustrated comment, Shinobu swiveled his chair to glance at his roommate.
"You say that because you're not doing anything," he gestured slightly over his shoulder towards his desk. "I, on the other hand, have some work to finish." Mitsuru hmphed.
"Well, give me something to do then!"
"Why should I entertain you? Are you a child?" Shinobu turned back to his work, once again beginning. . .whatever it was that he was working on.
"Nah. If that was the case, you'd be far far away, right?" Mitsuru could swear he knew Shinobu was smirking despite the pale boy facing away from him.
"I'm far enough."
"Feh." Mitsuru crossed his arms in a pout, mumbling something about useless roommates and being bored.
"I believe you fit the bill perfectly, ne?" Mitsuru stuck his tongue out at Shinobu. He knew he was being childish, but when one was forced to pit wills against Shinobu, they tended to lose: not just the battle but also their dignity.
"No wonder we frustrate Suka so much. . ." Mitsuru mumbled.
"Everything frustrates Hasukawa. It's the way he is." Again, unshaken.
"You have an answer for everything, don't you?" Another mumble.
"Why thank you."
"Not a compliment, you know!" Shinobu turned his head slightly to aim an innocent smile at Mitsuru.
"Not much of an insult either. . ."
"Enough! I'm done talking to you!" Mitsuru crossed his arms again as he turned away, flopping down onto the lower bunk.
"I was happy with that arrangement to start with. Not to mention you started the entire conversation. . ."
". . ." Not receiving an answer, Shinobu once again went back to his work. Ah, having the last word was a magical feeling indeed ^_~
