This is how I imagine a typical survivor morning. One Shot
Bill woke up from a terrible nightmare and was deeply disturbed.
" This is ironic all I wanted was for the war flash backs to stop now they've been replaced by god-damned zombie flashbacks."
He was the only one up in the safe room. So he lit a cigarette to try to forget it.
"At least I can sleep in these safe rooms."
Louis groaned rolled over and got up
"What'cha doing up so early Bill?" He asked
"I had a flashback, a bad one." He answered
"Are you all right?"
"I've had worse."
Francis got up from the floor
"What the hell you guys doing up so early?Early bird catches the worm or some other crap like that?" He asked groggily
"I woke up early." Bill answered
"I'm still used to getting up early for work." Louis said
"I guess that leaves little miss sunshine as the only one still asleep then."Francis said
"Why are you guys making so much noise?" Zoey asked grouchily from the floor
"Scratch that." Francis said
Bill suddenly went pale. After serving in the army for several years he had developed a sixth sense for danger and it was going off right then.
"Everybody grab a gun!" Bill yelled ,knowing something bad was coming
"Who died and made you king?" Francis asked
"Don't be a smart ass something bad is coming." Bill retorted
"I don't hear anything." He answered back
All of a sudden they all heard a noise they all had learned and grown to fear, the yell of a tank. All of them pick up the gun nearest them. By the time they all had their guns loaded the tank was at the door trying to break it down.
"Oh Shit!" Louis yelled and started shooting
The door was breaking from the blows of the tank while they all unloaded their clips on it. The tank had broken the door and it was coming in. Francis put his shotgun in its face and said
"Asta la vista jack ass." and then pulled the trigger
The tank fell right in it's tracks
"Is it dead?" Zoey asked
"It's missing half it's face if that ain't dead I don't know what is" Francis said
"Well now the door's gone so we might as well leave" Bill said
"All right let''s go" Louis said
"Another day another zombie to kill" Bill thought
