A tribute to Poke

The title says it all but I'd advise against reading this if you have not finished reading/listening to Ender's Shadow as there are some minor spoilers.

To Poke, a young girl who helped save lives and died for a kid who grew to save the world.

You took care of the younger kids,

You did all you could to make sure they were safe and fed,

You died for a kid you barely knew,

You sacrificed your life for his,

He grew to help save the world,

You helped save the world,

You died for a kid you barely knew,

You died helping others,

You were a noble girl,

You died for a kid you barely knew,

You were killed before your time,

Dying for a kid you barely knew,

You did all you could to help your crew,

Getting a bully to help you,

You helped keep your crew fed,

And when it was time you died for a kid you barely knew.

(Also, Bean is the kid she died for and Asheel or however you spell his name is the one who killed her, stabbing her with a knife and throwing her body into the river)

Ps. After reading this you should look up Revive, Blink lyrics and listen to it, keeping Poke in mind and how she died. It is wonderful and terrible and it will break your heart but it's worth it.
