AJ Lee raised her hands as she stood in her white wedding dress. She shouted, "YES! YES! YES!" as she continued to skip towards the back. She turned to see the audience one last time and proudly smiled and kept chanting. She watched as Daniel Bryan threw things across the ring. He tore down the altar and threw the flowers everywhere. She giggled to herself as she made her way to the back. She saw Punk and for a second her heart stopped. She clutched her chest and she had to remind herself that he didn't care for her. She slipped off the ring on her finger and sighed as she walked past him. She knew he wouldn't notice. However, she didn't see him glance at her and stop in his tracks. He eyed her dress, taking in every detail on her beautiful figure. He reached out his arm in an attempt to reach her, but pulled his arm back. He rubbed his temples and sighed as he made his way out to be ready for his Daniel and Punk segment.
He waited till it was his time to go out in the ring. He looked at the audience, all of them cheering for the Best in the World. He made his way up to the ring as Daniel did nothing but glare at him. Daniel Bryan brought the white MC up to his mouth and began talking.
"Best… in the world." CM Punk rolled his eyes. Oh this outta be good.
"Best in the world," he repeated, "You're not even the best in this ring tonight!" He looked up and got right in Punks face, looking him dead in the eye. CM Punk just starred at him with this amused look on his face. Goat face continued, "And let me tell you something Punk, not only am I better than you!" He stepped back from Punk. "Not only am I better than you! I am the GREATEST WWE SUPERSTAR OF ALL TIME!" He was yelling by now and Punk just smirked at the foolish man. "DO YOU HEAR ME PUNK?" Punk put his finger in his ear and cleared it and leaned his ear towards Daniel in a smart kind of way. "GREATEST OF ALL TIME!" CM Punk stopped, looked at the man, and gave an 'oh really?' kind of nod.
That's when the Rock came in and put the boot to Daniel and showed him who's really the best in the world. CM Punk watched as Rock climbed out of the ring and left Daniel Bryan in a mess on the floor. CM Punk slowly made his way out of the ring and into his dressing room in the back. He sighed and placed his WWE Championship belt in the dressing room. All of a sudden a knock came from his door and he turned. There, in all her glory, was AJ Lee. She had her hands behind her back, her hair fell over her face, and she looked down at the ground. She was wearing her Best In the World outfit that she wore when she tag teamed with Punk. He sighed, he slowly walked towards her and pulled her into his chest.
"AJ…" She instantly relaxed into his chest. She felt calm, safe, and secure in this mans arms. She looked up and grabbed his face and kissed him hard. Punk didn't hesitate in kissing back and pinned her against the door and shut it. With every second he pulled her closer and kissed her with more passion than she ever felt with Daniel Bryan. She pulled away and looked into his eyes and muttered an 'I miss you' before capturing his lips in hers again. CM Punk wouldn't deny it, he couldn't deny it.
He missed her too.
