Krad's POV

Summary- Sequel to Vulnerable. Krad contemplates. Oneshot.

Disclaimer- Once again, no I do not own D.N. Angel. It belongs to Yukiru Sugisaki. I'm just borrowing the characters and the plot that made them how they are. The saying doesn't belong to me either.

A/N- I am deeply sorry for those that have been waiting for this. I hope you all approve of this as a sequel. You don't have to read Vulnerable first to understand this. But I'd prefer it if you did.

You confuse me Dark.

You think I don't know how you feel about me. That you were clever enough, sneaky enough to pull the wool over my eyes. But the reality is far different.

I know you have feelings for me. That you believe you love me. And the only thing stopping you from saying anything was my supposed feelings for one we both know quite well. What you don't know is that it was a cover-up. Even I did not realize it at first. It was awhile before I acknowledged what I felt.

I've known for quite some time. But I purposely allowed you to continue believing that I loved another. Though that was true once upon a time, it is no longer. And I know I can never tell you this. No matter how much my heart or what exists as my heart screams in agony.

You wouldn't have understood. Even I don't understand completely.

We've always been connected you and I. Through our separation, the chaos and destruction that followed in the years after as we fought against the other.

It reminds me of that last time we saw the stars together. Do you remember that starry night? Where a dream ended and a resolution was born? It seems so long ago now.

Almost as if it had happened to another. And only our memories prove that it wasn't a dream.

On that starlit night, I knew what you were going to tell me. I couldn't let your heart break just because I was selfish. But I know my false admission still pained you. I can't seem to find that same light in your eyes now. For that, I am truly sorry.

Someday you'll get over me and find the one that's meant for you. You'll see. They'll return your love and I'll be able to see your eyes light up in joy and happiness once more.

And I, I will stay in the shadows watching over you. Always watching. I'll be there when you need someone. But I can't be the one for you.

I hope you all liked this. And yes, I know that Krad was OOC. Once again, I'm really really sorry for those people that had to wait a year for the sequel. Plus, FFNet wouldn't let me upload anything for days. Please tell me what you thought about this.

The lines in this story is a saying translated to English. The original saying is in Chinese (Mandarin to be precise.) The saying was from a magazine in which Vic Zhou of the Taiwanese band F4 said he heard it from a friend. Hope you liked it.
