The hushed silence of the winter dawn was now lifted. The early rays of light flowed across the snow covered mountains, between the immense pines, and into a small valley. Lined in a thin layer of freshly fallen snow laid an idle road, which if followed, one would find it lead to a fairly large foundation. The structures were quiet, calm, and the only source of sound came from gusts of wind which ripped through the pine branches causing them to sway and free the weight of snow upon them. The complex consisted of threebuildings. The largest and more luxurious building was placed in the heart of the complex, leveling five stories high mimicking the design of a mansion. The other two, leveling three stories high, were placed close behind, all shimmering white in the golden rays.

Small gardens, which at the time were covered with plastic to secure the fragile plant life, were scattered about with curving paths among with benches resting upon a whitened landscape. If someone were to look at the buildings a thought of peace and beauty would come to mind. These pleasing thoughts, however, will be driven away after noticing the iron bars covering each and every window, or the camera surveillance which were to be found among each building. Or perhaps a feeling of uneasiness would be felt once passing through the inimitable gateway of the ten-foot cement wall which enclosed the compound. Moreover, one should expect these conditions, for placed efficiently in golden bold lettering above the gateway read, Crypton & Possicly Mental Institution.
