Just a little message for you, this happens after the 2 war, fred died
Arthur still remembers the day molly passed away. He knew she was going, but it didn't make it any easier. It hasn't even got easier 4 months later. Ginny has taken it upon herself to make sure her father eats and Bill, Charlie, George, Percy and Ron all come around to help wake him up. Ever since Molly passed away, Arthur hasn't really moved from his chair in front of the fire. He hardly ever talks and even then when he does he has lost his spark, his life.
While Ginny was cooking dinner, George looked at his father and spoke "dad?" Arthur just looked at his son, "Why did mum not tell us?"
He wasn't expecting this question, and apparently neither was his sibling. They just stared at the both of them. After a long pause Arthur finally answered barely loud enough for them to hear "it was too hard. But I do have something for all of you from your mum." With this news they just looked at their father not sure what to say.
As he grabbed the muggle remote that he used for the TV, pressing play they all say there mum, laying in bed upstairs. But she didn't look like herself. She was deathly pale and her voice was barely loud enough to be heard. "oh my darling children. You have no idea how sorry I am for leaving you with just this video. But saying goodbye to you all in person would be too hard for me." Molly coughed and sat up a little and doubled over. Once she had finished coughing she continued "I just want to tell you all that I am so proud of you. Bill.." Not one word was said from the watching family. They hung to all of her words, knowing they would never hear her voice again. "... no matter how old you get or how many children you have, always know I am always watching. Charlie, just promise me one thing, find someone...Settle down, but most importantly stay safe and happy. Percy, just remember family is very important...they need you right now. Ron, Oh my little Ron, there are cookies in the kitchen...make then last."
At this there was a few little laughs, and Ron whispered softly "I will mum, but I cant promise"
"Ginny, my little girl, I bet you are the one that has took over me...cooking for your father, making sure he eats and looking after your brothers, even tho they should be helping her" Molly said smiling. "And George, I didn't forget you, I just wanted you to know that I am going to look after Fred. But we both will be watching you, all of you."
The screen went black and then a few moments later there was molly again in bed looking worse "Arthur..." Everyone glanced at their father with a little worry on all of their faces "...I know you said you didn't want this, but I need to tell you something before I leave. But I had to say something, You have made my life the best ever, and I wouldn't change any part of it. I love you with my whole heart and I will see you again in a few years and no sooner" with those words molly blew a kiss and the screen went black for the second time and the picture of molly didn't come back.
They all sat there in silence, apart from Arthur. He held his head in his hands and cried, not caring how loud he was crying. He had lost his only love and he couldn't see her again in years. George got up and wrapped his arms around his father and hugged him. Then all of a sudden all 6 children where holding him, all crying together.
