Lily and Petunia lay sprawled across the living room floor, laughing and doing each other's nails. Lily rests a head on Petunia's shoulder and pleaded her sister not to go to grade school the next day. "What am I going to do Tuney?" "Lily, play outside, I'll be home to play with you right after school" Petunia exclaimed, she was already frightened about leaving her sister, to go somewhere shed never been before. She wanted to stay home and play with Lily, not be picked on by other kids, because of her horsey face. Whenever fathers friends came over they had always complemented him on having a daughter such as pretty as Lily, and always looked over Petunia. It wasn't fair, Petunia thought, why can't we be equal in looks? Her mother had always showed preference over Lily too though; often telling people she knew Lily was going to special. Lily didn't care; she just wanted to play with Petunia on the swings, or run around outside. Petunia added hastily "Don't you go off and get yourself in trouble with Mrs. Figg again!" an old lady who didn't like people on her lawn. "Sure Tuney whatever you say." Lily was used to getting reprimanded by her sister. The next day Petunia got ready for school, woke up early, dressed herself and ate breakfast, since she wasn't pretty, at least she could be responsible, she thought. As soon as she got there, kids started cracking jokes, making fun of her face and clothes, she powered through it though, refusing to cry until alone. As soon as got home, she was attacked with a hug from Lily, who quickly wiped the tears from Petunia's face, and dragged her outside to play. At least she had Lily, but never say forever
I wanted to give Petunia a little story. Having a very bad day so I can relate, at this point. Please review, if you don't like it, I'll take it down.
