Disclaimer: Nope, I don't own the world of Harry Potter, unfortunately.

Summary: A poem about Hermione's last thoughts on Earth. Warning: Character death, and suicide. Don't like, don't read!

A/N: I don't know why, but I couldn't seperate the stanzas. That's why I put the "xoxo."

My Last Thoughts

I have eyes that can see,

But you can't see me.

xoxo

I have hands,

But I can not feel the coarse beach sand.

xoxo

I have lips,

But upon mine, you can not place a kiss.

xoxo

I have a nose,

But I can't even smell the sweet scent of a rose.

xoxo

I have a heart,

But it will never again start.

xoxo

I have veins,

But my blood it will never again drain.

xoxo

I have emotions,

But never again will they be spoken.

xoxo

I have blood,

That some think is filled with mud.

xoxo

I have arms,

But never again will they come to harm.

xoxo

For you, my heart yearns,

But my way, your head never did turn.

xoxo

I have loved you for many years,

For you to not return it is one of my fears.

xoxo

It's just not fair,

That never again will I touch your hair.

xoxo

Have you noticed that I am gone?

That my body lies on Hogwart's lawn?

xoxo

Do you know why I am dead?

Do you know the last words I said?

xoxo

Do you even care about me?

Or is it only Lavender you see?

xoxo

I put up with you for so long,

Six years, if I'm not wrong.

xoxo

You didn't know, but I loved you everyday.

But from me, your heart did stray.

xoxo

How could you have not known,

That it was my heart that you did own?

xoxo

I wish I knew,

Why I was doomed not to have you.

xoxo

When I saw you, my heart used to flutter.

I used to feel just like melting butter.

xoxo

I loved you more than life,

And dreamt of someday becoming your wife.

xoxo

But, when I saw you with Lavender,

I knew your heart belonged to her.

xoxo

How could you fall for her so quickly?

To me, that will always remain a mystery.

xoxo

I know so many things about you.

I bet Lavender can't name two.

xoxo

Who do you think of more?

The bushy-haired bookworm or sweet, innocent Lavender?

xoxo

By yourself, will you notice that I'm not in the Great Hall?

Or will it be when you need help with homework assigned by McGonagall?

xoxo

I hope you're the first to find me.

Maybe then, you will finally see.

xoxo

I loved you for so long,

Maybe then you will see why being with Lavender is wrong.

xoxo

I couldn't stand to see you two together,

How could you not see my life begin to whether?

xoxo

Every time you kissed Lavender,

I couldn't help wishing I was her.

xoxo

As I watch the blood flow from my wrists,

I regret not having at least one kiss.

xoxo

Now, as I watch my blood flow,

I wish you could know,

xoxo

The last words I said,

Before I was dead.

xoxo

That's simple you moron,

I said, "I love you, Ron."

A/N: I was in a depressing mood when I wrote this, so that's why it's like this. Review, but don't flame! I think I'll write a poem about Hermione and Harry, next. I've already written a poem about Draco and Hermione, so if you like that pairing, go check it out.
