Greetings! It is I, japaneserockergirl, here with yet another Pokémon fic! This one, however, differs from my other ideas: it is a collection of one-shots! I always see these on the site and have always wanted to make one, but I never succeeded…until now. These one-shots focus on the stat Trainers of Sinnoh (Riley, Cheryl, Mira, Buck, and Marley), simply because they just don't get enough love. I mean, even the Frontier Brains of Generation IV have a one-shot collection (and a great one at that!), so why not these guys?

DISCLAIMER: Because clearly I own Pokémon. That's why I'm sitting here writing fanfics instead of working the remake for Generation III. Besides, if I did own Pokémon, there'd be a switch of new characters after each regions—y'know, to keep things fresh.

Statistics

Theme One: Cameos

Pairing(s): implied Cheryl x Riley

Summary: There's a reason the Stat Trainers don't make public appearances.

The famous stat Trainers rarely appeared in public by themselves, let alone together. But for some strange, unexplainable reason, the League had become concerned that the five of them—excluding the outgoing Buck and the hyper Mira—were much too reclusive for their ages and thus had thrown a huge party under the pretense to celebrate the anniversary of the team's formation.

Despite the begging.

Despite the pleading.

And—in Riley's case—despite threatening to sic Lucario on them.

The results were, to say, disastrous. Riley had apparently amassed quite an amount of fan girls; and while they had been civil at first, they had turned vicious when the time for slow dancing came. What had been a mere group of pretty and kind adolescent girls had morphed into a bunch of frothing, screeching monsters who would stop at nothing to get their hands on their object of affection—even if it meant killing each other. Or molesting said object of affection. It took a well-executed Thunder Wave from Cheryl's Chansey to subdue them.

Meanwhile, Buck and Mira had inadvertently gotten their hands on the more…adult beverages and were irrevocably smashed after one drink. The reactions of their respective families varied greatly: while Flint had laughed hysterically at his younger brother's misfortune (as all good older siblings clearly should), Mira's parents were very upset. In fact, Mira's mother was so upset that she unleashed some very harsh words at the League officials who had brought Mira home—words that no mother should ever use in front their child. Thankfully, Mira was unconscious by then and hadn't heard a thing.

Marley had fared slightly better. Her male fans were rather tame in comparison to Riley's fan girls. But even her situation turned sour when a boy came on too strong—and by that, the narrator means that he simply put his hand on her shoulder. (Apparently, he didn't leave the hospital for weeks. Marley had hit the guy's pressure points, after all.) Despite this minor mishap, however, she managed to get quite a few phone numbers, from those the Gothic Lolita declared 'masochists'.

But the night wasn't totally lost. Riley did manage to get one slow dance with Cheryl—at least until the fan girls recovered and decided to get revenge on the 'tree-hugging-vegetarian-hippie-home wrecker'. The fact that Cheryl's fan boys came to defend their 'fair, angelic maiden of the forest' didn't help things at all.

Needless to say, everyone involved was relieved when they were told that next year's event would simply be a dinner party amongst close friends.

Author's Notes: And there's the end of theme one! I don't know why, but this idea came to me very easily. XD I had learned about the stat Trainers shortly after meeting Cheryl in my Pokémon Platinum game, only to learn that she, Riley, and Marley were connected! And that there were two other members of their kind I had yet to face!

But I have to admit that this is way too short for my liking. The next theme, hopefully, should be longer.

So, I decided to throw this together. I hope you liked it, 'cause there's plenty more one-shots/drabbles where that came from! Please review! It'll help give me ideas!
