Summary – Melinda Stark is Tony Stark's rebellious kid sister kept hidden so the Avengers enemies don't find her. However, Melinda's own secrets are about to be revealed and cause their own problems, also throw in the fact Steve Rogers is dating her unbeknown to Tony.

Chapter 1 - Part one
Several years ago,
Tony Stark stood before his kid sister, her eyes narrowed in total defiance of her older brother.
"Why do I have to be hidden away?" she demanded.
Silence...
"Well?" she asked in anger.
"Because I am Ironman an Avenger and we can't have someone learning about you." Tony retorted. "Will you just listen for once, Melinda?" Tony snapped.
"Oh, and I suppose they wouldn't learn mom gave birth to not just a son but a daughter in the hospital records, huh?" Melinda asked sarcastically.
Tony got into his sister's face then.
"Pack." Was all he said.
Tears ran down her face then.
"You just don't want me here, fine!" she yelled as she ran into her bedroom and grabbed her duffle bags and shoved things into them.
"I am trying to keep you safe!" Tony shouted.
She picked up her two cats and placed them into their pet carriers. She was furious with her brother she didn't want to leave but here she was being pushed away by her brother.
"Fine, whatever." She growled.
She reached over her slender polished fingers wrapped around her cell phone. She waited for her best friend to answer.
"Hello." Came her best friend Tiffany Grant's voice.
"Hey girlfriend," Melinda answered.
"What's wrong?" she asked clearly knowing something was wrong with her best friend.
Silence greeted Tiffany at first.
"Melinda, what's wrong?" she urged firmer.
Melinda sighed then.
"Tony is kicking me out using the excuse I'm at risk there because of him being Ironman and being an Avenger." She explained.
Silence...
"Well, we turn this into a positive and I will move in with you, how's that?" Tiffany replied.
"Really?" Melinda asked.
"Of course," Tiffany said.
"Awesome!" Melinda exclaimed as her brother walked in as she finished on her phone conversation.
"You suddenly seem happy," Tony remarked.
She turned toward her brother then.
"I am. I turned this into a positive Tiffany is moving in with me." She stated firmly. "No arguments Tony you are forcing me out and I really don't want to live alone." She retorted.
"Fine, I just wish it was someone else other than her." Tony replied as she rolled her eyes.
"She isn't too found of you either, Tony." Melinda said with a smirk as Tony just shook his head.
"She's a bad influence." He responded.
"Oh, and your not?" she retorted.
"I am ignoring that I have friend that will get your furniture or you can buy new whichever." Tony said.
She glanced at all the furniture. She didn't want to part with the furniture their parents bought her all this stuff.
"I want this stuff," she said.
"Good move." He replied.
Melinda just nodded as she watched Tony take some of her stuff out into the other room.
"Say hi to Pepper for me," Melinda replied having a fondness for her brother's girlfriend.
"I will," he said as Melinda smirked.
"You need to marry her, Tony." Melinda remarked as Tony turned toward her.
"Did she put you up to that?" Tony asked.
"No," Melinda snapped. "I'm just saying she's the best thing that ever happened to you." She added as Tony nodded and smirked.
"Thanks, kiddo." He said as he hugged his sister.
"You're welcome but remember one thing also." She said.
"What's that?" he asked.
"Just because your Ironman doesn't mean your invincible, please be careful, alright?" she begged.
"Always," he said. "Come on, let's go." He replied.
Melinda smirked as he bent down and carried her cat carriers out to the other room.
"I love you, bro." she said.
"Love you too, troublemaker." He remarked.
"I'm not the one with a metal suit." She snarked.
"Yeah right, come on." He said as she carried some duffle bags with her to get ready to move into an apartment with her best friend.
An apartment that was paid for and kept under wraps by Tony to keep his sister safe.
